UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein is a bold and tireless advocate for women’s rights. Throughout his tenure he has reminded the world that it is women and girls that experience the gravest human rights abuses. He has worked to combat child marriage, urge accountability for violence against women, and stress the importance of sexual and reproductive health for sustainable development.
High Commissioner Zeid is the recipient of the 2018 Visionary Leadership Award, an award given to individuals or institutions that value women’s advocacy and champion the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls. Click here for more information about our 2018 Annual Dinner.
