Established in 2000, Education as a Vaccine (EVA) is committed to improving the health and quality of life of children, adolescents and young people in Nigeria. As an advocacy organization and service provider, EVA works at both the local and national levels to ensure Nigeria’s young people have access to sexual and reproductive health information and services, including HIV/AIDS prevention education. Since its founding, the organization has reached some 720,000 individuals through its programs, filling a demand for information and advice that, in effect, denied young people their sexual and reproductive rights. The International Women’s Health Coalition (IWHC) has supported EVA as a grantee partner since 2013.

In this video, Olabukunola Williams, EVA’s new Executive Director, explains why the work is so vital in a country with one of the largest youth populations worldwide.
