Nadia Hakim

Development Associate

Nadia joined IWHC in July 2020 as the development associate. Prior to IWHC, Nadia was a development intern at the Vera Institute of Justice, where she supported the development team by managing a database switch, coordinating events, and assisting in the grant writing process. On campus at the University of Michigan, Nadia was a student coordinator for the Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs’ anti-racism workshops and volunteered for the Sexual Assault and Prevention Awareness Center. She is also the founder of Soap4Hope, a benefit driven organization that aims to support women in crisis by providing essential hygienic products.

Nadia holds a BA in public policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
