Michelle joined IWHC’s communications team in June 2017 and has since been promoted to senior digital and marketing specialist. Trained as a theatrical lighting designer, her passion for narrative and strong commitment to social justice led her to a career in digital communications.
Michelle has worked with both corporate and nonprofit organizations in the United States and the United Kingdom, including Hetrick-Martin Institute, White Light Ltd, and Women in Stage Entertainment. She also leads communications for Impact Human, a nonprofit organization that combines photography, interviews, and research to share the human stories of climate change.
Michelle holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
