Mehreen joined IWHC in July 2019 as the communications associate. Mehreen is responsible for strategizing IWHC’s digital presence to engage audiences in the organization’s work.
Mehreen has a background in photography and digital communications and has focused her career on creating human-centered communications content for organizations, including NYU’s Office of Work Life, Center for American Progress, and HEART Women and Girls, an organization that promotes SRH education in Muslim communities. In her recent position at NETWORK, a Catholic social justice lobby, she engaged the organization’s more than 70,000 members through the creation of advocacy-focused email and social media campaigns.
She holds an AB in international affairs from the University of Georgia and is currently a graduate student at New York University, pursuing her MA in public health through May 2020.
