Ivana Kvesic joined IWHC in May 2020 as the associate director of foundation relations with over eight years of fundraising experience. In this role, Ivana works to sustain and expand IWHC’s partnerships with foundations and governments.
Prior to IWHC, Ivana was the director of grants & partnerships at Global Citizen, an advocacy organization campaigning to end extreme poverty by 2030. In this capacity, Ivana worked on the organization’s global policy & government affairs team to oversee fundraising and partnerships with foundations, multilateral organizations, and governments. She began her fundraising career at the United Way in Southern California and later helped build the first development team at Women for Afghan Women, a grassroots organization working to advance the rights of Afghan women and girls.
Ivana holds a MS in global affairs from New York University and a BA in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
