Nina joined IWHC in 2014 as Program Officer for U.S. Foreign Policy. Previously, she spent seven years as a senior legislative assistant on Capitol Hill, including five years with Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. In Congress, Nina was responsible for a legislative portfolio including foreign affairs, human rights, women’s rights, and international reproductive health. She also served as an adviser for Rep. Schakowsky’s 2010 reelection campaign. Her previous experience includes work with Genocide Watch and Amnesty International.
Nina holds a Masters of Philosophy in International Relations from Cambridge University and a B.A. in history from the University of Mary Washington.
