Lindsey Amato

Manager, Office of the President

As Manager of the Office of the President, Lindsey is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operations of the President as well as Board members, major donors, partners, and colleagues. Prior to joining IWHC, Lindsey worked in Washington, DC, with the Population Reference Bureau, where she was responsible for assisting the President/CEO, managing Board events, and supporting PRB’s non-communicable diseases and youth risk behavior policy brief and data sheet activities.

In addition, Lindsey completed a six-month global health practicum in the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Africa Bureau and has conducted research in Tanzania on income generation for women living with HIV.

Lindsey has a B.A. in International Studies from the American University and a Master’s in Public Health with a focus in global health communication from The George Washington University.
