Human Resources and Office Manager
Liisa has worked in human resources at IWHC since April 2006 and in her role as Office Manager since April 2012. She leads and has operational responsibility for the management of IWHC’s office, information technology, and human resource policy and implementation.
Liisa joined IWHC in 2001 as a consultant, primarily focused on individual and corporate giving. In 2004 she joined IWHC full-time as a Development Assistant. She worked with individual and corporate donors until she moved to her current role.
Liisa is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Professional Association of Nonprofit Organizations (HR PANO).
She received her B.A. in Psychology from Connecticut College, her M.S. in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, and completed a professional certificate in Human Resources Management from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Liisa has also held her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since December 2008.
