Caroline Cotter

Senior Development Officer

Caroline Cotter joined IWHC in January 2011 as Development Officer, Institutional Giving, and became Senior Development Officer in October 2013.

Prior to IWHC, Caroline was Program Coordinator, Development and Communications, at Creating Resources for Empowerment and Action (CREA), a feminist human rights organization based in New Delhi, India. For six years Caroline managed CREA’s institutional fundraising and its New York office. She also coordinated and helped to initiate two of CREA’s international programs: the Sexuality, Gender and Rights Institute and the Disability, Sexuality, and Rights Online Institute.

Caroline has a B.A. in Anthropology from Harvard University and a Masters in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College. She taught for six years in New York City schools and is a board member of the Manhattan Country School.
