National March for Women's Lives, Washington, D.C.
On April 25, 2004, over a million women and men from across the United States and 59 countries worldwide marched on Washington to demonstrate their overwhelming support for a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body and to access comprehensive reproductive health care. The International Women’s Health Coalition and 1,000 other groups from around the country, joined by friends from overseas, delivered their message loud and clear: sexual and reproductive rights are human rights!
