One quarter of all German births are attended by a midwife, as opposed to in the United States where only one in ten births have midwife assistance.

Working to eliminate violence against women, Spain launched an unprecedented campaign to allow a woman’s restraining order to protect her throughout the European Union—not only in her own country.
